Qigong Classes with Claire
A space to soften, reconnect, and allow your body to receive.
Gentle, guided movement to support your nervous system, restore balance, and return you to yourself.
📍 Freshwater, Northern Beaches & Online

This is not about doing it right.
It’s about not needing to try so hard.
Qigong is an ancient practice rooted in Chinese Medicine, combining slow, intentional movement with breath and awareness.
But in these classes, the focus is not on performance or precision.
It’s on creating a space where your body can soften, feel safe, and begin to regulate naturally.
You’re not here to push, fix, or improve yourself.
You’re here to:
-
notice where you might be holding
-
allow movement to happen through you
-
let your system receive what it needs
Over time, this supports a deeper sense of:
-
calm
-
connection
-
inner steadiness
What it feels like to be in a class
Each session is gently guided, with space for your own experience to unfold.
We move through simple sequences (including Ba Duan Jin / 8 Section Brocade), but always in a way that meets the group on the day.
You’ll be invited to:
-
soften your breath
-
release unnecessary effort
-
reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm
There’s no pressure to keep up or get it right.
Your body is already intelligent — this is a space to listen to it.
What people often notice
Rather than promising outcomes, this practice supports:
-
a calmer, more regulated nervous system
-
increased body awareness
-
a sense of grounding and presence
-
gentle movement without strain
-
feeling more at home in yourself
Private Qigong Sessions
A more personal space to be met where you are
Private sessions offer a quieter, more tailored experience.
They’re ideal if you:
-
feel unsure about joining a group
-
are moving through something specific (physically or emotionally)
-
prefer a slower, more supported pace
-
want guidance that meets your body exactly where it is
These sessions are not about doing more.
They’re about creating the conditions where your body can:
-
soften
-
feel safe
-
receive what it needs
We move gently, with space to listen, adjust, and respond to what’s arising in the moment.
📍 Available on the northern beaches/lower north shore or online.
If this feels like the right place to start, send me a message and we’ll find a time and space that works for you.
Sessions are arranged individually, so we can choose a location (Freshwater or online) and timing that suits your body and your schedule.
What one client experienced
I would highly recommend Claire as a teacher of Qigong.
My Dr recommended I take it up post surgery and I decided on private lessons at home to begin with as I needed something specifically tailored to my needs.
Claire is an outstanding teacher - knowledgeable, wise and compassionate. I look forward to continuing working with her.
Justine Williams,
What others have experienced
Thank you for such a special class and for the beautiful community you have built.
It’s so special — and has everything to do with your beautiful open-hearted nature 💗
Phil, Fairlight
So grateful to Claire for bringing Qigong to the Northern Beaches.
As a beginner, I was a little apprehensive at my first session but that was quickly overcome.
Claire’s beautiful demeanor and method of teaching is so relaxed and meaningful that it is a pleasure to practice Qigong with Claire.
I’m now hooked and love the differences I have seen in my body, emotions and breathing. Thank you Claire 🩷
Cathy, Freshwater
Have loved learning Qigong online with Claire. She is welcoming and knowledgeable, effortlessly enriching every movement with understanding of how it helps our organs and emotions flow better.
I also appreciate how she always asks if any part of my body needs special attention and works something targeted into our practice to help.

A practice you can return to
Qigong is not something you master.
It’s something you return to — again and again —
each time meeting yourself in a slightly different place.
Some people come for calm.
Some for connection.
Some simply for a moment to pause.
Wherever you are, you are welcome here.
If you feel drawn, you’re welcome to join a class.
