An Energy Update on Collective Shedding, Environmental Shifts & Staying Coherent

Something Is Shifting
There’s a lot moving right now. This isn’t just abstract “energy talk.” You can see it everywhere.
Across politics, polarisation is intensifying. Decisions feel reactive. Long-standing systems are losing trust and stability.
In both business and households, cost-of-living pressures are tightening choices. Some sectors are contracting while others expand aggressively. This creates instability at both ends.
Information cycles are relentless. Outrage travels faster than reason. Our nervous systems were never designed for this level of constant stimulation.
Even environmentally, there are visible shifts.
Here on the NSW coast, shark activity has significantly increased this season. Whether that’s due to migration shifts, warming currents, or ecological adaptation, apex energy is surfacing more visibly.
Weather patterns globally feel less predictable. We are witnessing more extremes and volatility. The natural world is not static.
Personal Experiences
On a personal level, I’ve noticed changes too. Clients and friends are reporting:
Emotional releases out of nowhere.
Old grief resurfacing briefly.
Relationships recalibrating or ending.
Physical symptoms without clear personal cause.
Exhaustion mixed with urgency.
A sense of “something is shifting” but difficulty naming it.
This isn’t random. It feels like collective shedding.
Collective Shedding
Shedding isn’t destruction. It’s a biological process.
Snakes shed their skin. Trees shed leaves. Cells shed what no longer serves them. Ecosystems rebalance.
Collective shedding looks like:
Outdated structures losing coherence.
Personal identities softening.
Emotional density surfacing for release.
Old patterns becoming too uncomfortable to maintain.
Shedding can feel chaotic while it’s happening. What is falling away rarely goes quietly. But shedding is not the end of the story; it’s a transition between skins.
Embracing the Process
Embracing this process can be challenging. It requires patience and understanding. We must allow ourselves to feel the discomfort without clinging to it.
As we shed, we create space for new growth. This is a natural part of life. It’s essential to remember that chaos often precedes clarity.
Crossing Hemispheres: Recalibrating in Real Time
I’ve just crossed hemispheres. Honestly, it feels like winter and summer met inside my body.
The Northern Hemisphere brings density. The Southern Hemisphere offers fire. Light cycles are shifting. Sleep hormones are renegotiating. My circadian rhythm is recalibrating.
The body doesn’t just travel; it reorganises. For me, this has shown up as heaviness, achy joints, head pressure, and slowness.
And yet…
The Body's Wisdom
Our bodies hold wisdom. They communicate what we need. Listening to these signals is vital. It allows us to navigate through transitions with grace.
When we honour our physical sensations, we can better understand our emotional landscape. This connection fosters healing and growth.
The Eye of the Tornado
Despite feeling the intensity, I don’t feel destabilised. It’s more like sitting in the eye of a tornado.
I can see the chaos. I can feel the frenetic movement. But I am not it. That distinction feels essential.
Sensitive nervous systems often mistake collective turbulence for personal crisis. Sometimes, nothing is wrong with you. Sometimes, you are simply registering the field.
Finding Your Center
Finding your center amidst chaos is crucial. It allows you to remain grounded and clear.
When we cultivate this inner stability, we can navigate the storms of life with ease. We become beacons of calm in turbulent times.
When the Dragon Speaks
Recently in meditation, the dragon energy I work with — Mercabau — came through with unusual clarity. Fierce, protective, and steady.
The message wasn’t dramatic. It was simple: stronger waves are moving through. Prepare.
Not by bracing, but by clearing. Let what is shedding, shed. Do not grip it. Do not personalise what is collective.
Embracing Sensitivity
Some of us are wired to feel more. That sensitivity is a capacity. When we grip what we feel, it overwhelms us.
When we regulate and stay coherent, energy moves through rather than lodging. There are days when that feels like a gift. Other days, it feels like responsibility. And sometimes, when tired, it can feel like a burden.
But this isn’t about carrying the collective. It’s about not amplifying destabilisation. Coherence spreads. Regulation spreads. Steadiness spreads. That is influence.
What Preparation Looks Like

Preparation right now isn’t fear; it’s embodiment. It might look like:
Reducing reactive media consumption.
Increasing water and sleep.
Moving your body daily.
Sweating or shaking out excess charge.
Spending time in elemental environments — ocean, wind, earth.
Choosing conversations that stabilise rather than inflame is crucial.
For me, this week, that looks like ocean therapy. Salt water, sand, beauty, and simplicity.
Choosing Your Lane
You don’t drift through a shedding cycle. You choose your lane. You either let external turbulence dictate your internal state or you consciously hold the reins.
That takes awareness. It takes participation. It takes self-leadership.
The Rainbow
This morning, in thick cloud, I saw a rainbow. Not in clear blue skies, but in density. A vertical beam of colour dropped into the water.
Rainbows don’t appear instead of storms; they appear because of them. Light refracts through pressure.
And I felt a quiet knowing: all will be okay. Not smooth. Not linear. But okay.
The Promise of Hope
In moments of uncertainty, hope can feel elusive. Yet, it’s essential to hold onto that promise.
The rainbow serves as a reminder that beauty often arises from chaos. It encourages us to trust the process and embrace the journey.
The Invitation
We are in a shedding cycle. What is unstable will crack. What is coherent will strengthen.
The invitation is not panic; it is participation. If this resonates, tend to your system this week.
Move gently. Spend time outside. Notice what stabilises you.
My classes and sessions resume on 23 February. You are always welcome if you want support in strengthening your coherence.
A Call for Reflection
I’d love to know: what are you noticing in your own body right now? Are you feeling this collective intensity too?
Stay awake. Stay embodied. Stay in your heart lane.
You are deeply loved. You are never alone. And you are safe.
With warmth,
Claire 🤍
